The Prisoner is going to be on AMC starting Sunday 11/15 and running all six episodes in three nights, two hours at a time.

Okay, every time I see the Batman: Arkham Asylum trailer with the skeletons singing "Dem Bones" I get flashbacks to the finale of Prisoner and then my head hurts again.

At any rate, Friday needs to get here now because one of Amazon's Sales this week is a buy one/get one on DVD sets like, uh. THE PRISONER. And DANGER MAN. WHICH IS THE SAME SHOW ANYWAY AMIRITE.
I'm missing the last part of Prisoner, besides the fact that that's the slimcase set so I can get rid of my regular DVDs. But for serious, even with paying for the most expensive set of the two ($67.99) it's STILL half price of list price. *GRABBY HANDS*
I wonder how the filming of the new Prisoner series is going, I should check in on that.

I've gotten, well, bored of the internet lately. I have nothing new to contribute to anything, my creative drive has dried up and my life is uninteresting. The only reason I 'stick around' at the moment is that LJ gives me something mindless to do at work when I'm supposed to be staring off into space and not looking at *gasp* social networking sites.

Me: Blog site.
Lead: Social networking. You can interact, so it's social networking.
Me: You can interact on just about any news website. Am I not allowed to read informative blogs because I could hit a 'comment' button?
Lead: ...uh, don't get on Myspace. Or Facebook.
Me: No worries there.
And that was the end of the issue.
Been watching Angel Heart, which is actually the *sequel* to all the City Hunter anime but I didn't know that until I started watching it. Oops. But it's good, I like it. I'm powering through it pretty fast, and once I finish that it's on to Angel Links, which is the kinda side-story to Outlaw Star. I have to post the progress shots of the cross-stitch later, I'll probably do it when I post my foam on the Supernatural premiere tonight.
Aside from that, nothing really going on. Watching anime, sorting through old stuff and working, rinse lather and repeat. I watched Meet the Robinsons finally, and I actually managed to not be spoiled for it. Not that I needed to, can a movie get any more predictable? It was harmless and very bland, no wonder my mother didn't get it on DVD. (My mom LOVES Disney movies. Her side of the DVD library looks like the children's section, it's cute.)
Muses are muses. I wish I could fetch my creativity back to draw something, 'cause I need to design Samael's armor and stuff but ... art block. Horrid. Stuff.
Oh! New Prisoner information, there were a couple of behind the scenes videos up and stuff. I need to get my new Prisoner info community up and running. :D

...I honestly can't decide which is funnier. The fact that the Seek the Six website just took up so much of my attention, or the fact that there's a good chance I might be moving into an apartment complex called "The Village."

So I finished the book of utter DOOM today. The ending was somewhat lackluster, although it definitely fell into the grand tradition of 'object of quest melts the bad guy.' Very kinda 'meh' on it. Probably because it irritated the holy crap out of me while reading it. xD;
I still hold that the most unbelievable bit was the fact that someone so knowledgable about alchemy had no idea what the Emerald Tablet said. That, out of everything (INCLUDING the fact that within the story Voynich = Emerald Tablet) is what irritated me the most. Granted, that sort of information would have been a lot scarcer when the book was set, BUT the Emerald Tablet has been memorized by alchemists throughout the ages. You can't tell me someone who grew up with that sort of information wouldn't know "That Which is Above is Like That Which is Below."
So, yeah. Irritation.
I find it ironic that the text I used in my first draft of Waterstone was mentioned in the index.

Burn Notice season 2 preimere was last night! It was full of awesome and cake. And Fi shooting at a lot of things. I laughed.

So on Tuesday I smashed the hell out of my hand at work in an incredibly stupid, clumsy way. I managed to bash them hard enough to bruise; but not break; the bones in my hand right above the knuckles. Fortunately for me it was my left hand ... it's just made life interesting the past few days.
Went to see Kung Fu Panda yesterday; it was cute! I expected the movie to be much worse than it was. (I don't think it deserves a better score than, say, Indy but what can you do...)
