So I discovered that Windows 7 has a dictation feature. Awesome, groovy, I think. Let's try that sucker out! So I load up the function, run through the entirety of its tutorial, do all the speaking exercises so it understands me and it functions beautifully. I open wordpad, all set to play with this new toy.

I said "Test, this is a test, how does this look, is this working out?"

The computer typed "That was it lot of room increased urgent help me."

My exact response was "What the FUCK."

And then the computer typed "They only work on your own."

Suffice it to say I have shut the program down, I am not in that room any more and I have the cat and a blanket and every light in the apartment on.

So I watch a lot of USA. Mostly because of NCIS reruns, and now also because I've started watching Covert Affairs, but it means I usually have USA in HD on my TV. I see a lot of commercials/promotions for Royal Pains.

I finally got fed up with how familiar one of the actors was and got on IMDB.

Yeah, he was Ax. In Animorphs.

I have completely not been reading about how Jason and the Argonauts is a metaphor for the processes of the Great Work and the Philosopher's Stone. I have not and you people can prove nothing. Oh my god I should not be allowed near books at this time in the morning.

Nor should I be allowed near computers and vidding software, for this will mean ~~my DOOM~~ an AMV if I can get the systems to cooperate with me and my programs. Also this new undertaking is requiring actually listening to dubs to grab lines for use in the vid. What the hell am I thinking, this is never going to work.

...thank god I can just look at the dubtitles until I actually get to the physical process of making the video. I wonder if I'll actually be able to capture footage or if I'll have to dance around subtitles again. ONE STEP AT A TIME.

I'm off tomorrow I'm off tomorrow I'm off tomorrow.

My god. I know I complained a lot about Adidas when I worked there but OMG I WOULD SO GO BACK. This job is so friggin' physical. My shoulders hurt, my head hurts, my feet hurt, I've rubbed various body parts raw and bleeding and I have to go back again tonight. T___T

On top of the fact that I haven't been able to keep anything down today it's not been cool. I woke up and staggered downstairs, got hit with the fresh smell of garlic and promptly tossed what few cookies I had in my stomach. It's back to the water-and-lifesavers diet for me, oh boy. I seriously drank five bottles of water last night.

Please, y'all. Kill me.

In other news, my muses endeavor to make my brain die by letting me know that Kennichi's great-aunt is Nick's grandmother. Say it with me now, everyone: Ow.

Now I'm going to go take as much headache medication is safe, watch another episode or two of Romeo x Juliet and attempt to drown myself in the shower.

When I get done with this massive amount of stupid and geek that I'm typing up right now I think my brain is liable to explode. This is bad news, people, really really bad news.

PS. Anyone out there seen my copy of Hero With a Thousand Faces? I think I might have left it at my parent's house but I'm not sure.
