Woo, first post of 2008.

So, I was going to make this great huge whiny post about being cut off from the internet at large and how no one cared that I vanished but that all kinda went *bampf* when I realized that one of the things I'd apparently missed the newsletter on was this:



and my reaction spans somewhere between "oh my god what" and OH MY GOD WHAT.

Now, back to sucking my soul out of my body via Persona 3. Do you know how hard it is to find an icon and not spoil myself through next Thursday? Yeah.

To be truthfully honest, it took me a bit to realize that you were gone. I then decided that real life prevented you from being online. (What with the issues of bills and all) Just as real life prevented me from being overly attentive to my friend's list.

At that point, I realized I had no way to contact you outside of the internet to even check to see if you were well.

In the end, I hardly talk to anyone, real life friends or no, so I've always failed this 'friend' thing.

Are things looking up now?

Upon second thought, I probably should have worded that slightly better - people undoubtedly noticed I vanished, I was more disappointed that the people who knew how to get in contact with me didn't even try to.

Things are angling up, hopefully - had a job interview for a place better than The Pit of Hell and a couple more applications in, and a roommate (who better be getting a job soon), so the money woes shouldn't be quite as bad in the not-too-distant future.

All that being said, still totally mooching off of an unlocked connection so I could go up in poof at a moment's notice again. This time I'm a bit more prepared for it.

We're all completely obsessed with it hence the fighting over it and the roommate played it from like 1am till like 2pm one day or something it was insane. xD;

AIM is a retarded retard king and won't let me on and I have to reinstall it but computer is wedged in corner of bedroom and game is waaaaaaay ------> over there and I'm leveling kinda sorta.

And the Vic thing killed me but I'm over it except for the whole Hermes Trismegistus thing. Which will make me laugh until I die.

XDDDDD YEAH. It's... it's awesome, k 8( I beat the game in like two and a half weeks, I ignored EVERYTHING save for work in order to play that game. It's so addicting.

Yeah...I think we all pretty much realized that you just couldn't get to the Internet or you would. I had maybe a few hours where I was like, "IS SHE OK?!" but realized I didn't have a way to contact you outside of the Internet because I'm a loser, and none of the people who might possibly have been able to contact you posted anything about you (I figured no news is good news).

I kind of figured people would notice that I was gone, but when you get cut off from everything and no one contacts you, it rather feels like the whole world's abandoned you.

I don't fault anyone for it, I can't because if any of my online friends vanish I'd be put in the same situation. Doesn't help how I felt (hence the "whiny" part of the sentence) about it all, and lingering feelings are hard to chase off no matter how unjustified they are.

Upside: I watched over 500 episodes of anime in the past two months!
