Short form: We have water now yay! Full story after I get a SHOWER.
[Edit]: Ahhhh, feel so much better now. Okay, long form of story. No, we didn't get shut off due to nonpayment. What actually occured was that the utilities of the apartment were transfered out of my name and into some company's ... when their people moved, it shut us off. :O So we've got everything straightened out now; we're back to regular billing et al.
Admittedly if I'd been paying closer attention to the March bills this would have been caught sooner, but I've got a lot of bills to worry about. XD; We have water again, power is not going to be shut off for the same reason, and everything is hunky-dory.
Now I have to clean like mad 'cause my mom's gonna be here in like, an hour.

It kind of bothers me that the service was stopped on our utilities without any sort of notification, though. I mean, just anyone can waltz in and transfer stuff out of my name? Not. Cool.

So does this mean you got a few months of free utilities? I wish somebody would pay the gas/electric for me so I could jack up the heat while it's freezing outside. Stupid snow. :(
