(no subject)

So much stuff happened this weekend. @__@;

Friday started out with crap - the car died. The gearshift ... snapped for lack of a better term, it was loose and I could not get the car into gear. BAD. AAA towed it down the street for me, but it being a holiday weekend meant no one would look at the car before Tuesday. Lots of ARGH.

Fortunately, pyroh was off! And rescued me. And lots of fortunately starving4scotch's wonderful parents allowed me use of their Jeep Cherokee over the weekend. Thus Labor Day weekend was EPIC MOVE WEEKEND.

We moved everything I was taking with me that weekend, never mind all of pyroh's stuff she had left.

Saturday it was me and pyroh, but on Sunday starving4scotch and carrole helped as well. So that was epic win. I worked on Monday and returned the Jeep, then on Tuesday I hoofed it to work - and it was a much more palatable walk than to Wal-mart, ridiculous heat & humidity nonwithstanding. Also, I got my car! It wasn't exactly CHEAP CHEAP to fix, but it was a hell of a lot cheaper than I imagined.

Yesterday we got our cable & internet installed, and ... still have unpacking to do.

SO MUCH CRAP GOING ON.

Also, hadn't been sleeping well, realized it was because I was sleeping on the wrong side of the bed. I totally sleep on Ed's side of the bed, wat. Kenshin mocks me.

So much unpacking and laundry to dooooo~. And I must rescue my Iron Man movie poster from starving4scotch's EVIL CLUTCHES.

Been watching scattered episodes of Gundam Seed. I don't really like Destiny as much, but I like Athrun. He amuses me sooooo much. I don't think I've laughed so hard at the beginning of an episode as I did at episode 21. Epic. Win.
