Spot-on SPN, 6x04 was amazing. I loved it. That's the show love, where have you been?
It's been the thing that's been passing around fandom, and now I've got my theory to throw into the ring as well.
The amulet.
You know that Sam didn't just leave it in the trash can where Dean dropped it, he had to pick it up. Maybe he had it on him, maybe he was wearing it. We've been told flat-out that the amulet has mystical properties (I STILL say it's part of the Ark of the Covenant but that's just me); maybe if Sam was wearing it THAT was what provided his ticket out.
I am probably not even the slightest bit close on this, but I swear I read a spoiler somewhere that the amulet was going to be making another appearance? I don't know, I could have made that up in my head. But I am saying this now so if, ten episodes down the line, I can point back to this and go I CALLED IT.
