So I DVR'd this week's episode of Glee because Neil Patrick Harris is in it and, hey, NPH. Awesome. And then within two minutes of the episode he mentions ... singing at Kings Island? Like, Kings Island Kings Island? Are there more than one amusement park out there named Kings Island that I'm missing, or is he seriously talking about the one my brother worked at?

... the easy thing here is to look up where Glee is set but that professes interest in it, of which I have little. I'm just here for NPH. This is like, Justified, only 100x cooler because of the inclusion of NPH. And no glaring geography fails.

Paid tomorrow, yay. I will be buying myself a treat, either a new external HD or a blu-ray player. (The external and the blu-ray player are THE SAME PRICE.)

Ah, yeah, the Kings Island in OH off I-71? LOVE that place! And they're probably talking about that one because I'm 99.9% sure that Glee is set in Ohio. :)

It's set in the fictional town of Lima, Ohio. Apparently King's Island featured prominently in the creator's childhood. (I do not watch Glee, I just looked it up so you didn't have to.)

...ahh, okay. I honestly... got bored with the episode after about ten minutes and turned it off.

But isn't Lima,Ohio a real town?

*checks* Yep, an hour and half drive, tops, from my city. =D

(I know Lima's probably really fictionalized for the show, because that's just what shows DO to places.)
