Okay, discounting everything else that happened this episode.

WHAT THE FUCK. I have been writing a fic while at work, in a notebook since January with this exact same endgame plan. Trapping Lucifer. Although the reasoning behind it is "we can't kill him because that will create a void in the balance of things, blahblahblah" the binding seal involves using the Four Horsemen's rings. I came up with this shit in January. Jesus fucking CHRIST this weirds me the fuck out more than anything else that's happened this season, because I can flip my notebook open and point to the part where Cas starts outlining this plan.

I may have flipped out at the TV. Just a little bit.

ANYWAY. Awww, Gabe. :( I have decided I like him a lot and now no more Gabe. But we all knew this was coming. orz

I like the pantheon! I wish Lucifer hadn't chewed them all up and spit them out, but I'm glad Kali got away. I like the backstory in it and Lucifer and Gabe facing off was kinda really awesome.

Overall, I was not expecting such a brilliantly funny episode this late in the game. And I am so, so glad to see Dean back to being Dean.
