It is utterly amazing to be home and it still be daylight out. Woo!
I just strung Christmas lights around the grandfather clock, lol. Hey, if I can't have an actual four-or-five foot tree, might as well string up lights on the next tallest stable thing in the apartment. The effect... actually works pretty well, and I am satisfied. Now I must combat the urge to go buy another strand of lights and decorate the coat rack...
Note to self: once Christmas is over, buy the cat a heating pad, because she keeps sleeping on the dvr/closed laptop and it drives me nuts.
I sense that I might just be writing some Roy fluff in the near future. Or at least mashup!Roy fluff. Because, aaaaaah. Same with Al. Well, I've got my bigbang fic to work on and I decided forever ago to do mashup so maybe it'll all tie in, we'll see who cooperates and who doesn't.
Now.. I've got cleaning to do and Christmas presents to work on while watching anime. (I am loving Digimon Tamers, oh my god. I never ever got to watch anything but the first five or so episodes dubbed so I am COMPLETELY unspoiled and I have no idea where this season is gonna go, this is awesome. And El Hazard is so mid-nineties cracky ... I am enjoying myself immensely. I think I got burned out on all the NEW OMG SO DARK AND GRITTY anime that some crazy old school stuff is exactly what I needed.)
