.....a drive that regularly takes a little over an hour and a half....
Took us six hours.
We were supposed to get in around, oh, 9:30-10:00. Didn't get there until well after 2:30am.
Couldn't sleep, too cold. Auuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh. Mind you, this is not due to the OMGSNOW everyone else is getting. It is currently 51 degrees outside.
Now to find my cookie receipe because I LOST it (re: forgot and it's in Lexington) and then a trip to Remke to get the ingredients the parents don't have. Cold. Tired. Grumpy. STARBUCKS IS ON MY WAY I LOVE YOU STARBUCKS.
The funny thing was the Ed muse I've developed since I wrote Chasing the Sun was going "Dude, it's traffic. It happens. Chill." YEAH SURE ALL RIGHT THE ELRIC is telling ME to chill - HERE ED HAVE A FUCKING DIRE WOLF TRY TO EAT YOUR FACE. *sulks, goes to get dressed and commandeer Starbucks*
