So.
A) My laptop went kaput for good last night. It won't load even in safe mode; I get an explorer error and then taskbar and icons go away. I was planning to reformat tomorrow anyway; but that's all contingent on item b.
B) I can't get ahold of Kate. At all. She hasn't been online for the past two days; her phone has been going straight to voice mail and she's not responded to texts at all. Considering I'm supposed to be hanging out with her tonight (and ganking her install CD since my laptop didn't come with one) I'm rather tetchy. The fact that I can't get in touch with her has me paranoid something's happened and while that likely isn't the case it's making me pull my hair out.
