But yay! Glasses fixage! It's gorilla glue and it's more or less a temporary fix, but it should last until my insurance kicks in because I need new lenses and frames. Since I'm gonna get new lenses anyway, I have absofuckingloutely no qualms about gluing them to the frames. (Note to self: get normal-shaped glasses.)
The Indiana Jones novel has reached a plateau of me foaming about it; I've gotten through three chapters without so much as throwing my hands in the air.
Can't wait to get home tonight. I love

(Good cake. Not store-bought already made cake. And I have been informed that Ed is not allowed to help with this; wtf? I don't want to know what's going on, seriously, not gonna ask.)
Also among my list of things to procure: jumper cables, as I don't have any; gorilla glue for myself; sheets (because I realized yesterday I've had the same set of sheets for my bed since I was 12); and general food stuff. Things to procure in the next week: bicycle that is not made of rust.
Things I still need to do:
+ GET RID OF STUFF. LOTS OF STUFF. Now that I've got Paypal and my bank account straightened out I might actually venture into the world of e-bay again to get rid of some stuff. Like, oh, doujinshi. Lots and lots of doujinshi. I've got a huge "keep" pile as it is but I've got a fairly decent size "taking up space" pile. Plus action figures and other fandom-y stuff that I can't really sell anywhere around here.
+ REFORMAT HARD DRIVE. Wednesday's adventure, keep your fingers crossed.
And last of all, best wishes to

[Edit] a;dfklasdf annnnnnd now we're on about the tomb of Hermes Trismegistus. And (within the book) they've pretty much decided that the Voynich Manuscript is the same thing as the Book of Abraham the Jew.
