So, Catie can has internet now! It'll probably be a week or two before I sit down to reorganize ye olde library, but whoo hooooooo net. (This also means I can boot up some RPs, I am full of yay like you wouldn't believe!)
Next week is the week of SUCK. The paycheck will be shiny (and much needed, time to start taking a crack at outstanding bills), but still. Yerk.
The supervisor has been going around qc'ing people and stuff - one of the people I work with had to do some additional training because of it, and he grabbed me while I was running a quick errand between calls. Turns out I'm performing the best out of the trainees, and on par with a couple of reps who've been here a few years. And here I was panicked I was on my way out - talk about an ego boost. I'm probably gonna start logging overtime when allowed so that I can beef my paychecks up a bit and start paying down the looming balances on my credit cards.
Found a *beautiful* place in Lexington, fell in love with it, want to move into it tomorrow. Stuck until September. Goddammit! Stupid gas prices. Upsides include: nice large baths, large rooms, really decent rent for a 3-bedroom, five minutes from my job and walking distance if I feel like playing frogger on Athens-Boonesboro and Man'O'War. I want I want I want now. At least the couple of months will give me time to set aside money and the like.
Things are overall looking up; bumps in the road here and there but it's coming along nicely.
In the middle of rewatching Getbackers, Ginji and Ban fill me with such glee. I want to squish them both. Somehow, in my head Ginji is some sort of mutated cross between Havoc and Michelangeo (yeah, the turtle) and it makes me giggle all the more. I remember watching this show with Sarah all those years ago, before we all got totally distracted by .hack and Wolf's Rain. Talk about a long time ago. Crossed the 900 episode mark, at any rate. That's a LOT of anime, man, and I still need to watch the last few Bleach. Ghost Hound is up next after that, I heard good things about it.
[Edit]: I apparently have a tag of "john winchester is a bad man" and it makes me giggle. I didn't remember that. My tags are on crack anyway.
