Haven't updated ye olde movie list in a bit.
6. The Dirty Dozen - really enjoyed this. Why hadn't I watched it before?
7. The Man - WTF Samuel L Jackson movie, with, uh. Some guy. It was bizarre.
8. The Last Man on Earth - The original movie, with Vincent Price. Now I just need to find a copy of The Omega Man and I'll be good to go for I am Legend.
9. The Quick and the Dead - *snickers* It was... really amusing? I don't think it was meant to be as amusing as I took it.
10. King Arthur - managed to miss this in theaters, wasn't worth paying for. Shiny music, though.
11. Man of the Year - I think I enjoyed it more than my parents did, but it was still a one-off for me. Glad I didn't buy it way back months ago used from Hastings.
12. Species - Dude, it's that chick from CSI! I didn't find anything all that special about this movie - my parents made it out to sound like it was a porno with killings when it first came out.
13. Practical Magic - Sisters try to raise a guy from the dead, kinda screw it up, deal with fallout. I think I might have seen this when it came out eons ago, but I don't remember. It was very entertaining with the old aunties played by the mom from the Lost Boys and Stockard Channing.
14. The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants - God bless HBO, delivering movies I would never have seen otherwise. That being said, major EH.
15. Point of No Return - I didn't know they remade La Femme Nikita. I think I should have. It was entertaining.
16. The Island - Another for the 'eh' pile, but it had copious amounts of Ewan McGregor and so far I see nothing wrong with that.
17. Young Frankenstein - Another one I'm sure I've seen all of but it's been so long I don't remember anything but the "classic" moments. Heh.
18. Gentlemen Prefer Blondes - I didn't realize that was where "Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend" originated from. Need to watch more old movies. Feel like a pop culture n00b.
Anime:
4. Kino no Tabi - I just really enjoy this show. That is all.
5. The Hakkenden - I am a sucker for samurai big time - this show mostly feels like a hit of acid. I like it, don't get me wrong, but it has low production values oh my god inconsistent character designs and other general low-budget lunacy. But hey, it's got samurai! And it's based on a famous legend! So, uh. Yeah.
Next on my slate is both seasons of MKR. If I die from shoujo overload, well. You'll know why.
