My parents confuse the shit out of me.
Okay, so I was at Media Play the other day, and since they've got everything on sale, I called my mom to ask if there was anything she needed me to pick up for her. The Boy was whining about Family Guy, so she had me pick up the third season or whatever that was.
Fast forward to at home. Instead of my parents paying me back the $30; I ask for my dad to pick up Batman: The Animated Series volume 4, since that's the one I really really want and was the whole point of me going out to Media Play in the first place. My dad says sure, no problem. It evens out, so it's all good.
Today, I remembered seeing a Best Buy bag and asked if he'd bought it yet. He said yeah. And that my mom told him to wrap it and put it under the tree.
...uhhhhh. What?
That's not a CHRISTMAS GIFT. That's supposed to be the trade-off for me buying one of the gifts my parents were going to give my brother! I already bought his present! I feel cheated. Muchly. THERE IS NO EQUIVALENT TRADE HERE.
Okay. Now I've got to shower, and bake cookies for the next three and a half hours. Go, me!
