I really really really want to work on twothree different FMA fanfics now, all set in actual contiunity so they won't become (Cue Great Big Echo-y Voice) EPIC STORIES OF DOOOOOOOOOOOOOM (/Great Big Echo-y Voice) like other fanfic. It's BAD when I have fanfic idea for an anime fandom based on a movie I recently saw, right? Also, I love the Roy!idea one. I think I just might write that one. Glacier goes home to visit her parents for a week and leaves Hughes with baby Alicia and then some sort of military thing comes up and Hughes has to go and has to go NOW and shows up on Roy's doorstep, thrusts baby Alicia into sleepy!Roy's arms and says "I'll be back in two days BYE" and is gone.

Roy is standing on the doorstep like "WTF just happened?"

ZOMG I need to write that. Dammit, I go to work in twenty minutes. DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMNIT ALL!

I was reading fanfic. Which is really what I shouldn't be doing at the moment because I've got a jones to write -- and nothing kills that quicker than reading fanfic that's better than anything I can churn out -- but I'm doing it all the same. And wouldn't you know but there's a snippit of text from some actual alchemy text! It's not really relevant to the story, per se, but it's there all the same. I knew it was actual text from reading it, because I REMEMBER READING THAT TEXT. AUUUUUUUUUUUUGH.

I have Black Escaflowne playing on one side and Vanilla Sky playing on the other, not that I've ever SEEN that movie! I walked past the TV and got a side-long glance out of the corner of my eye, and looked at my brother. HOW THE FUCK DID I KNOW IT WAS VANILLA SKY? I'VE NEVER FUCKING SEEN THAT MOVIE NOR HAD ANY DESIRE TOO AND AUUUUUUUUGH!!!

Today's weather has confused me to no bloody end.

I can see lingering darkness on the horizon, a threat of more snow, of more cold. But right now the sun is shining down warm and bright, and you wouldn't be able to tell that ten minutes ago it was snowing so hard that you couldn't see a foot in front of your face.

The sun's burning off the accumulated snow as well ... the last blitz had enough force for some of the snow to *stick*, this time... it hasn't remained on the ground at all today. It's been alternating snow and sun the entire time, and I must say it's been confusing me like no one's business. Pick a weather and stick with it, maybe?

The sun's still shining, despite a few errant flakes trickling softly to the ground.

[Edit]: And, now the sky just turned black again. I wonder how hard it will snow, this time?
