You know what's a bitch? Not being able to sleep more than eight hours anymore. That, and the stupid blinds redirected the stupid sun into my eyes, so here I am. I've noticed a supreme lack of LJ posts with actual content as of late, so I figure I should remedy that.
The job hunt wears on. I guess I'll go to Berea today and see what I can dig up out there ... it's sunny and nice and not doomful and icy today.
Classes are... well, classes. Astronomy keeps trying to fuck me over, it's a hard struggle to not succumb. History is a stupid, stupid class, and my BEM classes keep me well entertained. Except for that bout of irrational hatred when we watched Shichinin no Samurai. Half the class thought that Kikuchiyo in his loincloth was really, really funny. Even when he died. *STABS THEM ALL* Wow, guys, really mature. "ZOMG I CAN SEE HIS BUTT LOLZ!!1!" 9_9x;; That, and the professor...with the names of the characters... augh. He can't remember the names of the characters (which isn't that odd, the first time through I only caught half of them, and Japanese names aren't odd and unfamiliar to me anymore), so he gave them 'stereotypes' ... then he mentioned one by name. "Gorochi". WTF?! There is no "Gorochi"! There's a Gorobei. I was irritating the guy next to me because I kept chanting under my breath "Kambei. Kikuchiyo. Kyuzu. Shichiroji. Gorobei. Heihachi. Katsushiro." When he finally asked what I was doing, I told him that they were the names of the titular main characters, and he DIDN'T BELIEVE ME.
I can't wait until we get back to American cinema, because then I don't have to put up with stupidity. Or nearly as much, as the case may be.
Haven't been writing OR drawing much. At most I've been mucking around on the journal-RP and causing havoc over there. It's migrating out of my 'fanon' and is just starting to incorporate anime characters and original characters together. Which is fine, I should put a temporal/dimensional nexus under the Kansaki Sou. THAT would make everyone's lives more interesting.
Have in mind a couple of complicated fanarts that will get me murdered. Stay tuned, maybe they'll show up someday.
And, really, that's it. I'm bitching at my computer because it seems to have eaten the middle of my FMA episods, so I have to re-download 30-43. Fortunately, I found a boxtorrent and ripped my existing episodes on to my HD so I had a starting value of 58%. It has just edged into 59%. This... may take some time.
Hooked Saitou and Okita on Death Note. Yay I win! Now, 59 needs to come out quickly.
Read a lot of scans lately. Read Arcana, which is a cute little shoujo manga (and not to be confused with Arcana the webcomic). Currently reading Gunsmith Cats. Yay violence, cars and guns. In a remarkably well-researched Chicago setting. Whee! Next up on the slate is Flame of Recca, before I start re-reading Bleach (since I don't remember where I stopped... -_-;;). Yay scans.
