Okay, so no pictures because I can't find the camera and I'm too damn lazytired. The Boy kept me up until 1 am because he wanted to watch ... TMNT. He came in my room to whine that he wanted his birthday present early (his 18th is a week and a half away), then to call me a freak for the anime stuff I bought 9.9x;;, and then, out of left field "I really like the new Turtles show."
... Well, I made the mistake of telling him that I have the first season of TMNT on my computer, so we ended up watching some episodes before I kicked him out and went to bed. But then I had to get up at, oh, six-thirty because the TV repairman was going to come at eight and now he's not coming and I could go back to bed but I have to be up at ten anyway. x_x
Anyway, loot-wise I got some fun stuff. Two artbooks, the Wolf's Rain "Rakuen" artbook and an FMA TV animation artbook. Two doujin, a yaoi FMA (Roy/Ed), although it's mostly gag, and a Yamaguchirow Busou Renkin doujin. I GOT PRETTY PORN, I AM HAPPY. ^______^x; I was highly disappointed in the fact that no one had any tankobons ... okay, not 100% true, some tables had maybe five or six tankobons. But last year there were several tables that had nothing but the raw manga. I WANTED BUSOU RENKIN AND FMA, dammit. *cries*
I got a ... chibi-Ed fan that you have to see to believe. A Kenshin plushie, Envy and Ed figurines from the set that Kate bought, a non-chibi Ed pin for my nametag at work, the Shikon no Tama, and a caduceus necklace. I have a necklace with Flamel's Cross on it. FEAR MY DORKINESS. *bounces*
I'm reasonably sure that the caduceus symbolizes balance, but that's the double-snake one. It's much harder to find information on the single-snake caduceus. I AM A DORK WHEEEEEEE. Wonder if there's any connection there or if I'm reading into things WAY TOO MUCH again? n_nx;
