First, You NEED to see Hugh Jackman give Matt Damon a lapdance. No, really, you do.

Second, my dad just called. The Cincinnati Enquirer contacted him for a comment on the alterations to the Star Wars DVDs. *rofls* Seriously. He told them "Lucas needs to keep his wookiee paws off the movies. If he's going to alter them, then he should include an original theatrical version of the movie as well." Give or take a few words. He of course threw a Bond reference in as well, but I don't remember. Something about superimposing Brosnan on Connery. I don't know. I'm still laughing too hard. XD

Real update (or something akin to it) later.

Someone could have TOLD me that was Matt Hill in Shanghai Knights. No, really. I sat there and went "I KNOW THAT VOICE." Oh, my lord, that is funny.

Re: Last episode of Inuyasha

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHAAHHHHHHWTF?!

Okay. Good now. Maybe the sub will make my life a better place. BUT WHAT THE FLYING... GAH. Manga better clear things up more or there will be MAD RAMPAGES OF DOOM.

This being brought to you by entirely not enough sleep. And sugar poisoning. SEVERE SUGAR POISONING. (Although, the greatest part about the credits was Kagome's mom looking at shoes and all of Kagome's girlfriends pushing/tugging Hojo along. OMFG.)

ETA: A Reaction... )

President Josiah Bartlet: I need a favor.
Ted Mitchell: Anything sir.
President Josiah Bartlet: I need you to hire a guy.
Ted Mitchell: Who Sir?
President Josiah Bartlet: The former ambassador to Bulgaria.
Ted Mitchell: Who is that sir?
President Josiah Bartlet: Ken Cochran.
Ted Mitchell: But isn't Ken Cochran the current ambassador to Bulgaria?
President Josiah Bartlet: Not for long. Look, he's a good man, a smart man, and I think he would make a good corporate officer.
Ted Mitchell: Why is he being fired sir?
President Josiah Bartlet: Gross incompetence; I'll be right back.

You know, it's really sad. Last night I was almost having a panic attack because I couldn't get on LiveJournal. It's an obsessive need, I check this sucker so many times a day I've lost count. It's not like I do random internet surfing though, more than 80% of my internet time IS Livejournal. Or any journal, for that matter. I need to work on my InsaneJournals and I signed up for a Xanga, whatever the hell that is. I think it's a blog. *shrugs* It was bugging me to register so I could read someone's journal so I did, and that came with ANOTHER blog. Let's see, that makes LJ, Deadjournal, InsaneJournal, uJournal, Crazylife, Blurty, GreatestJournal, Diaryland, Blogger, and now Xanga. That's just how many SITES I've signed up to. Me, crazy? Hell yeah!

I've fallen behind in my anime! Oh no! I haven't watched the rest of Airmaster yet. The show... got really fucking weird there with the random yaoi. I mean, we knew that one guy wasn't really into girls, but didn't really care, until we spent seven minutes centering on this really large and ugly guy professing his undying love or whatnot and the kiss scene. My eyes, they burn. I like anime because it is pretty. I like yaoi when it is pretty. If it is not pretty TAKE IT AWAY NOW PLZKTHX. *splutters & dies*

But now we're into the really FUN fighting. I really like Maki, she's such a doofus. And she loves fighting. It's so cool! They're in ranked streetfighter competitions, and Kai is involved and Kai is pretty damn cool herself. Also, Maki's half-sister is hysterical. It's a great show. I dunno if it's been liscensed, I don't think it has been. Wouldn't mind this one on DVD, but I'll definitely be saving the fansubs.

Aside from that, haven't been watching much of anything. Just downloaded FMA 48, will watch that tomorrow. After I finish up Airmaster I'm going to catch up on Aishiteruze Baby, I think I'm four or five episodes behind on that. I'll probably rewatch the first four so I can write a review of it, I'm going to try to write detailed reviews for the first four episodes of each series I watch. Stretch my writing skills a little, I guess.

I'm aching to write out and work on characters for this new story idea but I'm being GOOD. I'm saving either this plot/story or an Arcadia story for NaNoWriMo, though I'm leaning towards the newer story idea anyway. If I do ANY prewriting/plot planning before the last weekend in October I'll consider it cheating.

Aside from random RK02 scribbles and a Contingency drabble I started the other night (Akai + random assassination mission + random hot girl is getting very amusing. Mission? What mission? XD), haven't been doing much writing at all. I have been cataloguing old notebooks full of writing, which sometimes is a chore and other times is really very interesting. I found bits and pieces from a RK02 snippet I did that were utterly hysterical, as well as ... and this amuses me to no END ... a treatment for an animated Titans series based off of Young Justice. With a season's worth of episodes, mainly based off of pre-existing arcs but rewritten to fit into the contiunity established by both BTAS and STAS. There were even some things that would have tied in to Batman Beyond. I had some pretty interesting ideas for Superboy and Impulse too ... they wouldn't have made bad scripts/episodes. Kind of like the Spoiler episode I worked out for BTAS ... that's a fun script. I think I might have actually included that in the episodes, I don't remember. I'd have to go look. Too bad I never got further than rough summaries/drafts of the episodes. Wow, I am a complete geek.

I have decided that my next art project is similar to that rough Kenshin cel I did... headshots in cel-style of as many of my characters as I can before I get bored with it. I think it's the best way for me to keep track of my characters, it helps with the idea of a webpage with a character list to direct people to when I get the millionth "who is this character again?" question, and it's a good exercise in character facial design. A lot of my characters suffer from the fact that they all have the same facial structure and therefore they all look a lot alike. I'm going to aim to change that, it'll take time. But, RK02 and anyone else who hangs out in that particular fic-verse (aka, a HELL OF A LOT OF PEOPLE if any of you pay attention, I've crossed like six series into the same universe). So, that'll be an interesting project.

Work is work. I'm transferring to Toys-Hardware and everything in between. I'm going to work in an actual department! I'm so very excited about this. The thing I abhor about going in to work is that I don't DO anything. I stand there and ring people up. If I'm going into work I want to accomplish something, not be window dressing. I liked working in Garden Center because I had things to do. Helping unload the truck. Arranging flowers. Cleaning up. Stocking. It made the day go quicker. I don't mind helping people out then either, because I would know what I was talking about, where they needed to go, things like that. I really am excited about it. I think I'm going to be the only girl in that department, from what Sandy told me, but I don't care. I think it's the same department as Josh, who I know from when he worked in Service. Whenever we share a break we usually end up chatting and griping about work and school. So, I know someone, AND I get to work in departments. I'm pumped!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed about Sugoicon. Very honestly, I don't know if I'll have the capital OR get the days off for it. I'm literally saving pennies now for the con, here's to hoping. I may not be able to do the hotel thing, though, so I am sad. Amanda, how much would my share cost? I need to know, so I can have a goal to shoot for.

I'm still making my Ichigo costume, dammit. Because I really, really want to cosplay him. It's an excuse to lug around another huge sword. That, and it's also an excuse to cosplay as Kyo because their hairstyles are so close. (Well, Ichigo's hair is shorter and spikier, but I'll just spike my Kyo haircut.) I really can't decide which sword to make. I think that will come down to raw materials. I'd prefer to make the second sword, but that will take a helluva lot more work, and a lot more woodcutting skills than I have. At least, if I make the first sword, I can use my wooden broadsword as a base.

The kimono/hakama thing will be fun. As soon as I get my first paycheck I'll be getting some black fabric. I really, REALLY want to start on it but can't since ... I don't have black fabric. WOE. Does anyone know where I can find some really good hakama patterns online? Free ones, really. I've got one, but it's really complicated and hard to follow. I'm a novice still when it comes to some of this stuff, so nice, easy directions would be preferable. Also, I need the waraji sandals. Or whatever those things are called. Anyone know a good place to get them from, or a good place with directions on how to make them? My last resort will probably be flip-flops and fake tabi.

So, yeah. Stuff to do, stuff to do. Whoop! Saitou on the phone. Matane.
