So, I saw Spider-man 2 last night. It was okay. Well, I really didn't like it that much, the first half of the movie made me want to strangle myself. Once the big battles started up the movie got marginally better. I don't know, the movie just didn't suit my tastes. This probably has to do with the fact that I'm not too fond of Tobey Maguire -- build-wise, he makes a perfect Spider-man, but to me his voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard. This, oddly, didn't bother me in the first movie.
The CGI in this film was spectacular. The limbs had such a personality. The obvious set-ups for sequels were rather annoying. (Lizard, Venom and/or Green Goblin/Hobgoblin(I KNOW in the comics Hobgoblin is someone entirely different, but I wouldn't put it past Hollywood to change HIM to Hobgoblin to keep the two characters seperate).)
I probably won't see it again until it comes out on DVD. Even then, meh. Maybe if _I_ don't pay for it.
There was a new Catwoman trailer on Spidey, though. It actually made the film look slightly interesting, although the mere sight of Halle Berry is start to trigger my gag reflex.
Che, I'm tired. Didn't sleep at all, it was hot and humid last night. They put out some new action figures in the toy department (I'm always wandering over there, it's located next to the Garden Center), so I rifled through the Batman figures. Lo and behold! New Robin action figure! My life is a shiney place again. =D It's very obviously Tim, too, regular costume. Maybe tomorrow I'll dig out the digital camera and take pictures of all the different Robin figures I have.
Comic book store today! XD XD XD
