I have absolutely no attention span.
I've flitted about, in the past forty-eight hours, from fanfic, to fanart, to AMV, to website, and back again. The impressive thing is, I'm actually determined to finish all of those projects, something that rarely happens. Not to say that I start things with no intent of finishing them, it's more along the lines of I have a nifty idea, but it has no clear "start" nor "end." *points to the random 'Nichi-gumi ficiness*
At least for this massive thing, I know where I'm going with it ... I just don't know how long it will take to get there.
So, April is almost upon us. I've started watching Cartoon Network like a hawk, because commercials have to start airing soon. *bounces impatiently* It's such a crime to delay the DVD release until freaking July, so I'm not going to miss a single episode aired.
My mirror killed itself the other day. Fell and broke apart. The mirror itself didn't shatter, but the frame came completely off, because of the heat. So I'm pissed about that, but there realy isn't anyone to be pissed at about it. Stupid weather, stupid hot dorm rooms.
I really need to clean this mess up, but not today. As I said, attention span. Besides, I need to go study, I can't afford to bomb another kanji quiz.
Speaking of that, there was a note left on my computer, I wonder if it was left on the door or something. Must ask roommate about that. It's written in romanized Japanese, but I could have read kana had they used that. It says "anata wa, nihongo ga, hanasu/k (can't read the handwriting)desu ka? denwa kudasai! (phone #), Try Wednesday, ja ne! ~Mina"
*boggles*
I think it has something to do with the fact that the whiteboard says "Isshou ni, rakuen ni ikimashou" in kana, plus the kanji from the Shinsengumi flag. Omoshiroii, neh?
My new bear keeps attacking the other animals on my desk. I've gotten another Coca Cola polar bear, to add to my massive Coca Cola Polar Bear collection. Maybe it's just the fact that the CDs he's sitting on aren't very stable.
I've got yet another new coat, for those who actually care. I call it my Indiana Jones jacket. It's nifty. I love flea markets.
Started watching Scrapped Princess yesterday, because I realized I do have the whole series, mostly on my hard drive. It looks like a cute, fun show, but it's not a keeper. So, I need to finish it so I can delete those episodes off. It's becoming more rare for me to latch on to shows. There are five categories of anime for me now. There's "Current obsession", "favorite", "it's pretty good", "meh", and "make it die plzkthnks."
Grr, getting hungry. Where's roomie? Need to ask about mysterious Japanese paper. Need to go study kanji. @_@x;
I could work on my video more, but I need to clean of hard drive first. I've got a solid idea for an AMV, I'm so proud of myself. The song works really, really well, too. Although I have this great idea for what it should look like, and I'm having difficulty finding footage to match what's in my head. *sighs* I'm gonna be working on this video a bunch, I want it to be a "finished" video ... so I wouldn't be surprised if I'm still working on it when the DVDs come out. *points* Although, none of you get to see it until you've seen all of the show.
