Oh god, you people really, really, really should not allow me near pencils. No really. Pencils. Bad idea.

I will never be able to draw another wolf again, I don't know how I drew that one but there he is. Edwolf. WolfEd. Looks so ... wild. God I love his eye. And his face. Nnnnngh.

Weird doodled proportions, but. I luff it. Shit, guys, I am enjoying this FAR TOO MUCH.
Day 25- Roy Mustang: What do you think?
*side-eye*
*side-eye*
Okay, I love Roy, let's not get me wrong. Hell, he's probably the character I write the second-most frequently, following the obvious. But it took me a goodly long time to come around that way. If you were to LJ-stalk me back in the good ol' days of 2003 you'd find an entry or two expounding my annoyance at his character. I think it is tied in to the fact that I associated so strongly with Ed in that first series - I was closer in age to Ed than Roy when the first anime came out and was still young enough that "adults" were "the enemy." Mustang was up to something, and I was certain nothing good would come of it.
Obviously, my opinion of him changed as the show wore on but it still amuses me to think how much I strongly hated him at the beginning of the series. And now, where Brotherhood is concerned ... well, the roles are reversed, aren't they? I am now much, closer to Roy's age than I am Ed's and his role makes just that much more sense to me. It's kind of a fascinating dichotomy in that sense.
Not that Roy and Ed are really all that different. Part of the reason I love them is because of how alike they are.
I was going to expound further but now I'm hungry and I must go figure out how the hell I'm gonna feed myself tonight. Aha. CATIE GETS DISTRACTED EASILY.
