That was me earlier this year. Overdrafted by a small amount of money, and being isolated from my usual mail location in a couple of weeks suddenly puts me $400 in the hole. I really don't get that logic; why do they punish you (and so swiftly and severely) like that when chances are you can't afford the charges they're putting on you if you don't have money?
I eventually got a credit card through 5/3 that I never use that's supposed to give me overdraft protection so this kind of bullshit doesn't happen to me again, but I wouldn't blame you if you changed banks altogether.
